I have been trying some new activities with Daniel, including playing in flour. He loves it! He pretends it is snow and covers all of his trains and his train tracks with 'snow.' I love his imagination and I hope that it is something that he uses for a very long time. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">When Daniel was born, I was going to school and working and didn't make the time I should have to craft for him. I wish I could turn back time for just a few moments, that way I could have done more for him. I am trying to make up for that now... I have just finished two items of his new bedding, a blanket and a pillow. I want to make a fitted sheet and bed skirt as well, then possibly some curtains for the boys' room. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">With being a stay at home mom I have had the opportunity to craft more, and even return to teach yoga from time to time. I know that my life is forever changed and I may not be able to do all the things I dreamed I would, but life is full of many joys that I am now learning about. I would not change any path that I have taken in my life because it is all of these paths that have lead me here. I love my family and feel so blessed to have them in my life.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">With that said, here are some new projects including some flour play with Daniel and his new bedding :)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Of course with my new little baby on the way the only thing on my mind is baby! That's okay though, I also have two cousins in the family who are also expecting their second babies. One is due in July and one in August, congratulations ladies!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I am working on some new items, with a twist on them as well. I made pacifier holder, bib, and silky the other day. The silky and bib are not yet complete; I have some border stitching to do on the bib, and on the silky I have to add the satin border, and I am going to add tags as well so that baby can feel different textures.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

We are less than 8 weeks from meeting this little octopus and I am starting to get anxious. Brian and I finally went to a yoga class together on Sunday 1/9/2011, yes I want to document that date as it's likely to be the only time he will join me for class :).</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">A friend of mine, Katy was our instructor and there were about seven other couples with us, oh, I guess I didn't mention this was a Partner Prenatal Workshop. Brian was a good sport though, we learned some very nice partner postures and we went over lots of ways to help distract me from the pain of labor contractions once I am in active labor. It may sound a bit strange, but I am actually PRAYING that labor pains will start on their own...I am literally praying for pain. :) Anyway, I was very proud of Brian and I really appreciate that although he did not want to be there he showed me a great deal of support, and like all the other hubbies that were in class with us, he bit the bullet and even stated that the stretching felt pretty goo</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Now lets get going with 2011, more blogging and another bun in the oven...that's right, we are having another bouncy baby boy in just about 8 weeks!!! I told you time has flown :). </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">We are about 31 weeks and three days with another little angel from God, and what better way to enjoy him while still in uttero than to be practicing yoga and learning to sew. I have been teaching yoga throughout my entire pregnancy and I try to take classes as frequently as I can. If you have never taken a prenatal class and you are PG than by all means try it out...it is a wonderful way to start the bonding process and enjoy all of those little twists and turns you are feeling. Prenatal yoga also offers many wonderful laboring positions and breathing techniques, even meditation to help you and baby with the birthing process.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">So, for boy # 2 I have decided to try my hand at sewing as well as my usual crocheting. I have hand sewn a few items before but have never used a sewing machine. I think for a first timer my little burpies are pretty impressive. I am also going to work on trying to knit, which is very difficult when your used to only working with one hand as you do in crochet :). Here are some of my finished and unfinished projects to give a fresh start to a Happy New Year!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I am going to try doing a little more weeding tomorrow, since we are actually going to see the sun for the first time in three days, and hopefully get all of my herbs planted. I am going to start all of my items indoors, then move them outside in about six weeks or so. It is the largest fresh water resirculating pool in the US) with my mother and grandmother, and saw this woman crocheting a bag, but I had no idea what type of yarn she was using. So being the kind of woman I am I asked. She said it was plarn, a plastic yarn. She said she had taken plastic bags, cut them, tied them and used them as her yarn.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I had forgotten about this for a while when I came across this wonderful site. Here is the link: http://www.myrecycledbags.com/ this woman has some beautiful and unique patterns on her site. For all my green bunny friends out there, you all will love this.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">So, I have been talking with my husband, and he had a brilliant idea! He mentioned diapers and plastic...then it clicked! Maybe I can use plastic grocery bags to make a waterproof layer, and flannel and minky fabric for the inside and outside layers that touch baby's skin. My husband is such a genius and we have an amazing stash of plastic bags downstairs. I am working on a new pair of wool soakers for Daniel since none of his others fit him anymore, so I will start working on this new project very soon and will keep you all in the loop as to how the pattern progresses.</div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-31872525402620357452010-02-10T08:33:00.000-08:002010-02-10T09:02:37.883-08:00Baby Leggs<div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Pure Bliss</i></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwM1KbSu27OqW4oUpaWyoGIUWeYEsetS8kMCoot5gGCrVQY0RN7QOLyhyphenhyphenIA75jAeWL3xBJiPIEhAQ_QkZpY73JZ8_8k_AfeuS1W8teBh1lXrAMruEffgc6fiv82KN6BATF-w6cCCimxoU/s1600-h/IMG_3790.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwM1KbSu27OqW4oUpaWyoGIUWeYEsetS8kMCoot5gGCrVQY0RN7QOLyhyphenhyphenIA75jAeWL3xBJiPIEhAQ_QkZpY73JZ8_8k_AfeuS1W8teBh1lXrAMruEffgc6fiv82KN6BATF-w6cCCimxoU/s200/IMG_3790.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436660867870228322" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><i><br />Last of the seafoam baby leggs</i></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLnqVZfOLRG-A8sc2L7O56fac-ErXnZ02yIUsFHctOR0vkFHpQLqr4I_fkFaryas0SArHZB8cpNs3VM30-3juczmiFh5LEwFX9EpQqqu7NFbnJYLWIVB1FcJOeLDE60jI7T7k2Pjn8q2E/s1600-h/IMG_3794.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLnqVZfOLRG-A8sc2L7O56fac-ErXnZ02yIUsFHctOR0vkFHpQLqr4I_fkFaryas0SArHZB8cpNs3VM30-3juczmiFh5LEwFX9EpQqqu7NFbnJYLWIVB1FcJOeLDE60jI7T7k2Pjn8q2E/s200/IMG_3794.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436660119116837298" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I decided recently, I needed a new challenge. I have been hooked on crochet since my Sophomore year in high school when a friend of the family taught me how to crochet. My very first project was a crochet burp cloth for my aunt Sherri. Since then, I have worked on items from scarves and hats to Barbie clothes and baby items. I decided that I would challenge myself and try some sewing.I decided on two big items that I wanted to try sewing...one is pocket cloth diapers and the other are baby leggs. I spoke with my grandmother and asked if I could borrow her sewing machine (mind you, this was about five or six months ago) and she happily gave me the machine to use. I have tried a few times to play around with it, but I need to buy new thread and the thing is heavy as hell to move and it is currently in the basement...this means my amazing hubby needs to move it upstairs for me. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Since I have been unable to figure out a sewing machine, I decided to try sewing something by hand. Mind you, I have sewn buttons before...nothing else...not even a hem. What the heck though, I gave it a try and with a little bit of patience and a lot of luck, I completed two pair of Baby leg warmers...in about 3 hours. Here are my finished pieces as well as the next one to go.</div><div style="text-align: center;">As soon as I find out where all I need to get materials from for cloth diapers and diaper covers, I'll start work on those.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: center; I am so thankful to have Daniel in my life. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I remember how excited I was when I first found out...I couldn't believe it and actually went out and bought a second pregnancy test, just so I could double check. Sure enough it said pregnant as well. We shared the news with our family and shared both laughter and joyous tears. </div><div style="text-align: center;">I remember how exciting it was to begin to see my boy change and grow as this little miracle was growing inside of me. We shared everything together, and I now miss so much about being pregnant, feeling his movements, watching my belly jump. The prenatal period was something that I will remember for the rest of my life...it was magical.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">When Daniel was born, although everyone told me how fast this special time would go, I didn't believe it, but now I know what they meant. Daniel is almost nine months old, I love watching him learn and grow...but I miss my little baby. I miss when Daniel was so little that he would pull his knees to his tummy and tuck down his chin to snuggle up against my chest, when all he wanted was to be held and snuggled with. Now as I watch my angel grow, I see him getting more independent, and mobile. He wants to crawl and cruise, and our special bonding times of cuddling and nursing are becoming fewer.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">It is amazing though, I am enjoying being a stay at home mom, never missing a moment as he becomes more interested in touching, moving, and learning. He loves to go walking and look at the lights, watching the snowfall, reading and exploring. I get to watch him change and grow in every way. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">To all mothers out there, enjoy every moment with your children, hold them and love on them, they grow up so fast.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: center; "><i>8 months old</i></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZohmxYoCqx0DMzJr_vvlagmo4UZGkq_-tf7fC9DAWMYhYohRx7vtdqxBx1Lj89CtKKg5igIZCDdmCKNpG2eQsZAtHEIMnZe0A4jT09eCXtYG6iEr5YJAEAGJmRZQfzDfPWGJ1k8iORqA/s1600-h/IMG_3442.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZohmxYoCqx0DMzJr_vvlagmo4UZGkq_-tf7fC9DAWMYhYohRx7vtdqxBx1Lj89CtKKg5igIZCDdmCKNpG2eQsZAtHEIMnZe0A4jT09eCXtYG6iEr5YJAEAGJmRZQfzDfPWGJ1k8iORqA/s200/IMG_3442.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431179073657691378" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Yoga Postures</i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Downward Facing Dog </i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>( in the toy box)</i></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkvDJ7eBoNzS1OjMThzC1Nt80kNXVLtZAoIKZvgOG08YTTaq4xTpobuFIPRc7re99zCaEKWyGBAuRtHxxqiZuO04vTiLZ87oKjcC5VNst5cp3PH-vmUrKaGOdxsstYLbQGz_hy7_kLVq8/s1600-h/IMG_3664.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkvDJ7eBoNzS1OjMThzC1Nt80kNXVLtZAoIKZvgOG08YTTaq4xTpobuFIPRc7re99zCaEKWyGBAuRtHxxqiZuO04vTiLZ87oKjcC5VNst5cp3PH-vmUrKaGOdxsstYLbQGz_hy7_kLVq8/s200/IMG_3664.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431154536789584690" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Side Plank</i></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjulMzp7apvgIg2uPzNc3gpEIOdvxdRnnlyu4NmOjAN-wB9Pu0ux-dWEuRJWqQVWu_O197EcoldGTG4c7gUmHR34Jn6ryp90qiBKTIBtskKReHjIY6xHkAs2pXkbXGOjva50cuXN4vT2qI/s1600-h/IMG_3662.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjulMzp7apvgIg2uPzNc3gpEIOdvxdRnnlyu4NmOjAN-wB9Pu0ux-dWEuRJWqQVWu_O197EcoldGTG4c7gUmHR34Jn6ryp90qiBKTIBtskKReHjIY6xHkAs2pXkbXGOjva50cuXN4vT2qI/s200/IMG_3662.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431154532932509282" /></a>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-63084306667058057252010-01-23T21:37:00.000-08:002010-01-24T06:54:20.336-08:00Crochet Collector Dolls<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPk2FUANbdGCgPP3sUERwImZfbeG5loAX9GJoWHEIJ-ECo4gncLcqiq6oOO7cNDMaZdjCDLcT9e9YeqBGFuIVgwkn2pZOzlUW9SFnGMhHqgRUxWtO_SSoIZ7t3TD2ZkDrSxtUnB0Esj9U/s1600-h/IMG_3638.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPk2FUANbdGCgPP3sUERwImZfbeG5loAX9GJoWHEIJ-ECo4gncLcqiq6oOO7cNDMaZdjCDLcT9e9YeqBGFuIVgwkn2pZOzlUW9SFnGMhHqgRUxWtO_SSoIZ7t3TD2ZkDrSxtUnB0Esj9U/s200/IMG_3638.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430317727538191138" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">A few years ago...about eight to be exact, I picked up a crochet book with this beautiful doll dress. It had matte and pearl thread combinations, lace and many different pieces to make. I went out and purchased the items I needed including the tiny doily hooks that make you almost cross eyed as you work with them. Then I started the tedious job of crocheting this gorgeous Civil War Era gown. It is one of my favorite pieces that I have replicated three times with little changes to each and in several different colors. These gowns are created through Paradise Publications and are a joy to create. As each period piece comes to a finish, you can almost picture the young girls going to parties in the dresses, or Marie Antoinette, or Scarlett O'Hara. I will try to post more pictures soon, but here is a picture of the doll I created for my grandmother...my first attempt.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimAz_QfJZYjuNosZibrQC8HLkF70UXEAvFQ4SuGlRYM14QkLDBzkvNn-nkv4s_nqoHIG_I4_jDbasexC4k9xXxqyIYh7Yq_c2Q8OFZvKhwodFSeWPabMqlHH7MhmpcikuLt1mIHFInkzM/s1600-h/IMG_3650.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimAz_QfJZYjuNosZibrQC8HLkF70UXEAvFQ4SuGlRYM14QkLDBzkvNn-nkv4s_nqoHIG_I4_jDbasexC4k9xXxqyIYh7Yq_c2Q8OFZvKhwodFSeWPabMqlHH7MhmpcikuLt1mIHFInkzM/s200/IMG_3650.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430317755927391970" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0I_eo_0MJn3QMK5cNv57ArFA_CEV-Xwg7-LHj7PuclpgFrr7FbejASMmU4BnJPz-1ZHYR3Lt-ixBC4ABZV-LLL9DC4cgxGcdaMnXDTkzBWjsrAkc8_qdkbLApuXYOrA9xe-wHL56zgQY/s1600-h/IMG_3648.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0I_eo_0MJn3QMK5cNv57ArFA_CEV-Xwg7-LHj7PuclpgFrr7FbejASMmU4BnJPz-1ZHYR3Lt-ixBC4ABZV-LLL9DC4cgxGcdaMnXDTkzBWjsrAkc8_qdkbLApuXYOrA9xe-wHL56zgQY/s200/IMG_3648.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430317747626911698" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8jPNvKV8hHfsjf5tsvoqHGQ-8RJsahSLxGe6vHJG2F3TGVT2wQIFKjkztL1H7XeWaMhKD6kg3dHXmEi7OkzuRDicM3HWciOd3dvGtWpehgQNWX7EEo0STX26IpTbbTC6UFcfNkTODPsk/s1600-h/IMG_3646.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8jPNvKV8hHfsjf5tsvoqHGQ-8RJsahSLxGe6vHJG2F3TGVT2wQIFKjkztL1H7XeWaMhKD6kg3dHXmEi7OkzuRDicM3HWciOd3dvGtWpehgQNWX7EEo0STX26IpTbbTC6UFcfNkTODPsk/s200/IMG_3646.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430317740856631570" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWiL60tCagUK9vwwZ9GiJP2dlNKQPAM-S31_7Ve1mw1Jy8yRyMZZoSv8B56FAyiYChVve6j7zrwVRCa0BE5PGrD5S-pChocwGIvPRY9eR4H7O5bepvHVkMT0zT7wmcyP56B9RdsKjTMm4/s1600-h/IMG_3642.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWiL60tCagUK9vwwZ9GiJP2dlNKQPAM-S31_7Ve1mw1Jy8yRyMZZoSv8B56FAyiYChVve6j7zrwVRCa0BE5PGrD5S-pChocwGIvPRY9eR4H7O5bepvHVkMT0zT7wmcyP56B9RdsKjTMm4/s200/IMG_3642.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430317733353276338" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a></div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-24867667170341260462010-01-22T19:51:00.000-08:002010-01-22T20:14:36.321-08:00Powder Pink 0-6 month dress<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Several years ago, I started making crochet collector costumes for Barbie. They were beautiful gowns ranging from Marie Antoinette to Princess Diana. Last year when I first found out I was pregnant, I originally wanted a girl, just like most mommies do, of course I had many dreams about what my little angel was going to be and it was ALWAYS a boy. So we went for our ultrasound, and sure enough I was pregnant with my wonderful son Daniel. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Then I found out that all of my friends were pregnant too, I didn't do as much crafting though, because I was going through teacher trainings for yoga, and working, and completely engulfed in the wonderful experience of watching my body and life change.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I finished my very first baby dress this evening, and I am so ecstatic over it, I almost cried! I made this little Powder Pink dress...and I want a little girl so bad. So this very first dress I've made, I will hold onto for my own little girl. I can't bare to part with it. I am also planning on making a pair of soakers to go under it ( see previous post), with frills on the backside, a bonnet and pair of shoes. I am now hoping that perhaps I will be pregnant again by the start of 2011 at the latest, because this would be a beautiful little dress to see on my baby girl for Easter or Summer....did I mention I would like to have a baby girl. :)</div><div style="text-align: center;">I do love my precious little boy so much, and I have wonderful crafting ideas for him as well. I have a few sweaters that I have been looking at, as well as a pattern for a carseat blanket for him. He is my pride and joy and I am so in love with him. He is ...perfect...always smiling and happy and a great sleeper. Brian and I are very blessed to have such a good tempered little boy.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Original Design from Annies Attic crochet projects</i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg77JndPAFjYt3a6G0fnqJ8ziwfHU2EC_qgw4MNRLUAQL3wEbBfznJQ4L8LH3xwgubleQAhQB6jla3x-20-e9ouJsw58Yusts0vkRCHGxARkZejj7K1GeGulBRo71KICEonF-KXXwdFsls/s1600-h/IMG_3617.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg77JndPAFjYt3a6G0fnqJ8ziwfHU2EC_qgw4MNRLUAQL3wEbBfznJQ4L8LH3xwgubleQAhQB6jla3x-20-e9ouJsw58Yusts0vkRCHGxARkZejj7K1GeGulBRo71KICEonF-KXXwdFsls/s200/IMG_3617.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429782529947361186" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a><i>My own spin on the dress, made with a longer skirt and bell sleeves instead of puff sleeves.</i><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIGrHt-lsEyhlpfOavo2m7mgg94hGl4e-45NUQEdhWaWyppatUdaKjyusaibpsbaWztg6InCyp43_F6kRKePG2HDh7hQFMI_DzQRiTey3rFdf5IBVdSRchqI1yjeJULHhY1dpFZDPji70/s1600-h/IMG_3615.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIGrHt-lsEyhlpfOavo2m7mgg94hGl4e-45NUQEdhWaWyppatUdaKjyusaibpsbaWztg6InCyp43_F6kRKePG2HDh7hQFMI_DzQRiTey3rFdf5IBVdSRchqI1yjeJULHhY1dpFZDPji70/s200/IMG_3615.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429782521953397394" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 150px; height: 200px; " /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9ky9h-0VTj-iBa7EQIDv1SdkObRS3agoywIVErY-ai3T5Z5lf0PJNnRH9wHXf5WCSCGAmnuyUQmI18jJ4LNNhzVdArmCa6_0VLdR0uxXRnnC3Di6f-1I0ppXpwYrUeDXiClNJDkd7q00/s1600-h/IMG_3612.JPG"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9ky9h-0VTj-iBa7EQIDv1SdkObRS3agoywIVErY-ai3T5Z5lf0PJNnRH9wHXf5WCSCGAmnuyUQmI18jJ4LNNhzVdArmCa6_0VLdR0uxXRnnC3Di6f-1I0ppXpwYrUeDXiClNJDkd7q00/s200/IMG_3612.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429782517224541282" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px; " /></a></div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-80577725842403831492010-01-20T14:49:00.000-08:002010-01-20T15:13:37.256-08:00Crafting for Daniel<div style="text-align: center;">Here are just a few photos of items I have been working on since the birth of my beautiful baby boy. We are not positive what the sex of the baby is yet, but he/she is due in June, and the Christening is in August. We will be going out to visit for four days...I hope. First, we went to the mall and met our friend Kay for a walk. Unfortunately after our walk mommy noticed I had lost a shoe, oh well. Then we got home and mommy changed my extremely wet diaper, which had soaked through all my clothes, but I was still smiley. After mommy ate we got down on the floor and crawled around for a while, before mommy decided to lay on her back and fly me on her shins. We bounced, we flew, and we sang wheels on the bus; so much fun. We also did hop along yogi and head, shoulders, knees and toes.....these are some of my favorite things to play with mommy. Maybe we can try some chanting tonight. I used to roll around in mommy's belly when she chanted OM.</span><br /></div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-12106733775456726642009-12-03T13:27:00.000-08:002009-12-03T13:34:24.066-08:00A Little Behind ScheduleWell, we have yet to begin our daily yoga practice. I was supposed to start this last week and am just waiting for mommy to get off her bum and get motivated. I think sometimes she feels like there is just not enough time in the day, but I try to tell her it will only take 30 seconds, even if all we do is take 3 breaths and chant OM once. <br /><br />I guess I can't say too much, I have been a little fussy off and on the past week. Oh, did you know I just cut tooth number 4! I think if we just take a moment first thing in the morning, even if I am being rolly polly all over the living room, and sit and breathe our days will go by much smoother. I think mommy sometimes forgets to breathe and gets frustrated, after all I don't have words yet to let her know what it is I need. Maybe if we start practicing Yoga daily it will help to settle my tummy, I mean seriously, I am almost seven months old and still spit up constantly, it's quite disgusting. Oh well, I am going to nap and let mommy do some housework...maybe! :)Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5749048541920200143.post-84286302962317448222009-11-24T20:37:00.000-08:002009-11-24T20:45:15.054-08:00Starting a new yoga routine with mommy<div style="text-align: center;">Tomorrow is the day before Thanksgiving, it is also the first day mommy and I will start our new yoga routine. We have been going to mommy/baby yoga at The World Peace Yoga Studio in Cincinnati for about a month, but the class is finished until January 2010. Mommy and I were enjoying the interaction with our friends and want to continue in the class in January, but we have to keep up our practice. Tomorrow morning after a beautiful night of sleep we will start a practice for peace and harmony that we will continue daily, whether that is in reading, music, chanting, posture practice, or walking meditation in the park. I hope everyone who shares in this blog has a wonderful evening as well, and that you all enjoy this wonderful experience mommy and I are sharing with each other.<br /></div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10645001505309268848noreply@blogger.com0
